For Eyeglass Frames or Sunglass Frames:
We want all of our customers to be 100% satisfied with every purchase they make at uEyewear.com and uShades.com. To that end, we offer a one-time exchange or store credit policy on the return of any eyeglasses or sunglasses frames within 30 days of the shipping date. There are no standard exceptions, provided that the product being returned is has not been worn or damaged and is returned with the original packaging intact.
For Prescription Lenses:
Because prescription lenses are custom created, we can only offer a 50% refund on this item. We guarantee 100% accuracy on all prescription lenses we sell, but we understand that exchanging frames can also mean exchanging lenses. Customers who choose to exchange frames may need to have lenses edged and shaped to fit the new frames, which means new lenses must be created. In such cases, we will credit 50% of the original lens price toward the cost of new lenses.
To ensure that your prescription is absolutely right for you and limit the necessity of exchanges, please confirm your prescription with your eye doctor before ordering. If you feel that your vision has changed since your last eye exam, we recommend that you visit your eye doctor for an updated prescription before placing your order.
Processing your Return for an Exchange or Credit:
To initiate an exchange, please contact us at sales@ueyewear.com to get a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Once you have your RMA number, package your never-worn eyeglasses or sunglasses in their original packaging as securely as possible, along with the receipt and your RMA.
We reserve the right to refuse returns - in cases where a return is refused, the items will be sent back to the customer and is ineligible for refund. Returns may be refused when:
*The customer has not obtained an RMA or included the original receipt
* The item is improperly packaged - returns must include the original packaging and cannot be damaged in any way during shipping
* The returned item shows signs of use or wear and/or there are scratches on the lenses
* Eyeglasses or sunglasses are returned without their manufacturer's original case
Shipping Charges for Returns:
Shipping charges for returns and exchanges are the customer's responsibility, and this includes any taxes and duties incurred from international shipments.
International Customers:
Oversees customers initiating returns should declare returned items as "Returned Item Without Value" - the customer is responsible for any duties levied by U.S. Customs.
